On the other side of the day
I’ve been away from the family a few different times, but it has always been within the States, and within a two hour time difference. (Austin TX, Colorado, San Francisco, Seattle)
Here I am in Tel Aviv, about to lift my head from the pillow to start my day, while my beauties are putting their heads down on theirs as an end to their day back in Nyack, NY, like bookends on the night.

Introducing... Talia Daly
Born at 3:31pm in our home into our arms. A bit of etymology…Talia is a Hebrew / Aramaic name meaning “heaven’s dew” or “lamb” 8lbs 7ounces with wide narrow eyes and tiny little lips. Much love to Martha and Dierdre for helping us bring our new one into the light. Thank you all for the warm wishes we can’t wait to introduce her to you.

12:10am contractions much stronger now... Waiting...
Martha came today to check Dana andthe baby. Heartbeat was strong and steady. Baby and mother are doing well. My guess is that this baby will be born at three or four am this morning…
Consistent contractions 8 - 10 minutes apart for last two hours
Marth is on the way to our house to check Dana. Lots of contractions. Will keep you posted

Tonight could be the night!
Dana called me at work saying she felt a change. Funny, I had been postponing the scheduling of interviews for a new hire at House Party, and my CEO told me to start scheduling them and THAT’S when the baby will come… She may be right!
Dana had a great massage last night from a woman that livesw in our neighborhood and she said it was incredible. She was noticeably more relaxed...

Thai didn’t work. Today we’ll try skydiving or bungee jumping.

My folks are watching the girls and Dana and I are about to eat some spicy Thai to get that baby out!
Baby is still not ready!! But Dana is!
Contractions
Past two hours she’s been having contractions but the last four have been five minutes apart. Maybe we’re onto something here

That’s about it… wish I had more baby related stuff to talk about! Where the heck is this little person anyway?
